Why Christians should watch Gosnell Movie

Since 2014, celebrities like Kervin Sorbo sought help for crowdfunding the Kermit Gosnell movie. Finally in October 2018, Gosnell: The Trial of America’s Biggest Serial Killer was released in theater but some theaters dropped it. Facebook blocked its promotion.

Based on a true story, the movie is about anti-abortion, pro-life, pro-choice, and fetal massacre that seems to have nothing to do with faith. But ultimately, the ban really is a way to suppress religious freedom. The most active pro-life groups are Catholics and Christian organizations. In Student Action Groups in YouTube, you can see footages of pro-choice students harassing anti-abortion activists.

Roe vs. Wade vs. Norma McCorvey

Pro-abortion groups gained momentum in promoting their ‘Sacrament of Abortion.’ Roe vs. Wade empowered women’s rights to remove a developing fetus from their womb. Years later, Norma McCorvey (the real Jane Roe), recanted, repented, and campaign against abortion. McCorvey remained active in pro-life demonstrations until she died in 2017.

Roe v. Wade was a landmark decision in 1973 by the United States Supreme Court on the issue of the constitutionality of laws that criminalized or restricted access to abortions. Since then, at least 60 Million of fetuses have been brutally and forcefully removed from their mother’s womb. In 1984, The Silent Scream footage helped change the way people think about the unborn child.

End-times persectution

Towards the last days, scriptures tell us intense religious attack. The banning of the Gosnell Movie is a persecution of faith, but Christians should not wonder. In this world, Satan rules for a moment and has blinded many people. (2 Corinthians 4:4)

The good news is Jesus is coming back to separate the wheat from the chaff and make all things new. Sad as it may seem, hell is real for those who do evil (Matthew 3:12), but those who are in Christ will never perish. (Matthew 3:12)

Politics and Christian persecution

In the recent appointment of Brett Kavanaugh, hell broke loose among the Democrats and pro-abortion groups. Ultimately, he was a seen as a threat in “Reversing Roe,” and political leaders in America who are pro-life or vocal about God and the Bible, are ridiculed, attacked, and hated. Religious oppression comes in all forms and in different levels.
