3 Most Powerful Daily Prayers

family habit

The strongest, best, and most effective prayer you should ask God each day

1. The strongest prayer: “Amen”

Christians should “pray as a group” (Matthew 18:20) and ask others to pray for them (1 Timothy 2:1). The Biblical principle of praying with others is so that those with you can agree with what you are praying for (Matthew 18:19).

The word “Amen” means “so be it” and whatever you bind on earth is bound in heaven (Matthew 18:18). Imagine if someone in your family disagrees with your prayer and refuses to say “Amen.” That is why the prayers we ask God should also be aligned with the petition of others, so we may avoid prayers that have selfish motives.

“Amen” means “so be it”

2. The best prayer: Thank you for “good” & “not good”

Jesus modeled prayer for us and it begins with praising God the father. Many times we fill our prayers with “our need” rather than thanksgiving. Apostle Paul faced great persecution yet he was joyful. He was an expert in anti-depression and his formula was simple, he always said “thank you” for both the good and bad things in his life.

James 1:2-4
Consider it pure joy when you face various trials because it’s a test of your faith that makes persevere, so you can become mature and complete, not lacking anything.

3. Most effective prayer: “God’s will be done”

Notice that most of our prayers seem unanswered? We often ask God for things and there’s nothing wrong with it. However, we must always consider what God’s will is. He knows what’s best and we need to trust him for that. We shouldn’t grumble when God refuses something we ask for. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding; think about Him in all your ways, and He will guide you on the right paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6)

Matthew 6:10
…your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

The Lord’s order of prayer: The third presupposition is “Let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” God reigns in both heaven and earth but this world, for now, is ruled by the evil one (1 John 5:19). Selfish prayers are those that do not glorify God and His Kingdom come. The most effective prayer are those according to His will. (1 John 5:14)

  1. Seven million children starve to death every year. Does your god not hear their cries or does it enjoy their suffering? Perhaps it ignores them because they have nothing to donate.
