Kids should submit to parents, as everyone submits to God through Jesus, who is head of everything

Matthew 22:37-40
He said to him, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. 38 This is the greatest and most important command. 39 The second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. 40 All the Law and the Prophets depend on these two commands.”

Ephesians 1:22-23
And He put everything under His feet and appointed Him as head over everything for the church, 23 which is His body, the fullness of the One who fills all things in every way.

Colossians 3:17
And whatever you do, in word or in deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

The father & mother will support & love each other. They must provide healthy food, shelter, clothing, and emotional support for their family. Parents are to pass-on godly wisdom and be an example of right living.

Ephesians 5:33
To sum up, each one of you is to love his wife as himself, and the wife is to respect her husband.

1 Timothy 5:8
But if anyone does not provide for his own, that is his own household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.

Deuteronomy 6:6-7
These words that I am giving you today are to be in your heart. Repeat them to your children. Talk about them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.

Likewise, children should obey their parents in everything, until they have their own family.

Colossians 3:20
Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord.

2 Corinthians 12:14
Now I am ready to come to you this third time. I will not burden you, for I am not seeking what is yours, but you. Children are not obligated to save up for their parents, but parents for their children.

Children should honor and love God above all else.

Colossians 3:17
And whatever you do, in word or in deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

Ephesians 6:1-3
Children, obey your parents as you would the Lord, because this is right. Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise, so that it may go well with you and that you may have a long life in the land
